She’s been a fixture on daytime television for more than two decades, and Oprah Winfrey has announced she’s getting ready to close up shop. The 55-year-old talk show host will be on the air until September 2011, marking a quarter of a century run for “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” She explained, “After much prayer and careful thought, I decided that next season, season 25 will be the last season.? I love this show. … This show has been my life and I love it enough to know when it’s time to say goodbye.” Winfrey continued, “These years with you, our viewers, have enriched my life beyond all measure.? We’ve grown together.
